Old-Time Music Is a combination of many different styles of music. The founding mother's and father's of America came with instruments from their original countries and living out in Rural areas began to play tunes which now have been handed down for gemeration to generation mosly intact. I have presented a few tunes on this web site to illustrate how the music sounds. I have been lucky enough to study the banjo and learn with great players like Ray Alden, Bruce Molsky, Dan Levenson, Dwight Diller, and Alan Jabbor. I appreciate their kindness and generosity.
